We are the governing body for the sport of basketball in the County of Essex. It was established in July 2002 following the amalgamation of the Essex Basketball Association, the Essex Schools Basketball Association and the Essex Basketball League. The remit of this body is simple - We aim to bring together the different strands of the sport that have existed in Essex up to now and move them all forward under one banner for the mutual benefit of the basketball playing community.
